When you hear the word Ibiza, what image pops into your head? An all-night raving, chic boutique living, spiritual haven? Well, along with those attractions there are many other reasons why the island entices holiday goers each year, and one of those is its large array of beautiful suntraps.

Las Salinas

Cocktail Time

If you’re looking to spend your days in the sun with a cocktail in hand and some Ibizan beats on in the background, this is the place for you. Known for its iconic beach bars and golden soft sand, Las Salinas mainly attracts those wanting to get a feel for the real Balearic culture. Whilst you’re there, take a trip to the very popular Sa Trinxa bar and restaurant where good music and food meet to make a chilled out Mediterranean vibe.

Benirras

Spiritual Haven

Known for its beautiful sunsets and clear waters, Benirras is a favoured location for a relaxing beach getaway. It’s bohemian vibe, breath-taking scenery and welcoming atmosphere attracts a variety of visitors all year round. Although the beach is only accessible by car, it’s a journey worthwhile when you get to experience the sunset rituals and bongo drummers every Sunday evening.  

Cala Xarrace

Set in the North of the island, Cala Xarrace is a quiet, picturesque location surrounded by natures finest. Although it’s one of Ibiza’s smaller coves, its ideal for both laidback and adventure seeking visitors. If you are the latter, set some time aside to snorkel in the clear turquois waters, or kayak to the neighbouring coves. All in all, it’s the perfect place if you’re looking for your own little Ibizan spot.  

Cala Llonga

If you’re travelling as a family and are looking for a beach where you can have a little bit of ‘me time’ whilst watching your children play, Cala Llonga is the place for you. With its promenade of beach bars and restaurants serving a variety of cuisines, and a large array of water sports and play areas dotted around the area, this is the idyllic place for a family fun day at the beach.   

Punta Galera

Natural Beauty

Located just a short 10-minute drive from San Antonio centre, it’s not difficult to see why Cala Salada is one of the most popular beaches on the Island for both tourists and locals. With its strong Mediterranean vibe, panoramic views, rock formations and rock pools. This beach is a hidden gem, with no shops or sunbeds and surrounded only by dramatic rock formations that drop into the deep blue ocean surrounding Ibiza.  A fantastic place for snorkelling and experiencing Ibiza underwater.

Cala Conta

Best Sunset in Town

Famous for its coastline views Cala Conta is an easy accessible, busy but beautiful location favoured for its stunning daily sunset. By day there are two stretches of golden sands, along with several different areas to explore, including a naturist cove. As the night sets in, crowds of visitors admire the sun setting over dinner at a nearby restaurant. Talk about front row seats!
